North Rose-Wolcott High School is now offering a driver's education course!
What are the benefits of driver’s education?

Increases student safety and confidence behind the wheel

Provides driving experience

Reduces recklessness, identifies and corrects bad habits, and teaches driving etiquette

Can help improve specific driving skills such as braking, stopping, turning, parallel parking, and merging

Potential insurance discount

Opportunity to take a mock driving test with instructor feedback
Successful completion of Driver’s Education will provide the student with .5 credit as well as an MV-285 (certificate of completion of a New York State driver's education course). Students must pass with at least a 65 in both theory and laboratory (driving).
